Working to liberate New Brighton, Minnesota from a steady decline of the business climate, erosion of private property rights, and general malaise brought on by misguided policies of career politicians and a bloated bureaucracy. New Brighton can and should be a clean, safe community to raise a family and run a business, not the fiefdom of politicians and bureaucrats more concerned with maintaining their city government empire than the liberty and prosperity of the citizens.

For the past few years there has been a coordinated assault on our incomes, property rights, traditions, and values from the political left, the so-called mainstream media, and the institutions they control. The result of this offensive has been the election of many "progressives" (what we used to call "liberals" and "socialists" before the days of political correctness) to all levels of government. This has resulted in an explosive growth in the scope and reach of government into our daily lives as well as serious damage to much of what makes America great.
The goal of this blog is to help bring about and support a counter offensive by those of us who are concerned about the direction our city, state, and country are going.
Elections have consequences! Posts on this blog will examine the consequences of previous elections and advocate how we the voters can correct some of the negative ones and build on the positive ones. We need to take back our country, and the place to start is with our city government and other related local government entities.
The time for action is now, before the America we grew up in becomes little more than a fond memory.
